Distorted Perceptions – Selime Göç

“We are living in a digital age where it’s all just an other image. Originality is a such a rare commodity that its’ importance is being questioned. Personally, I love all types of art and admire any artistic act, for or against something, coming from pain or pleasure, I store them in my mind palace where they lay in disorder. That is why I like to mix it, stir it, blend it and with a little edit remove myself from this polemic and create something original. In the creation of Distorted Perceptions series Lacrimosa was with me. I love my work so I do it when I sleep, eat, work and play, leave the overcomplicating to high-brow critics and instead hold a carnival mirror to life.”        Selime Göç
